The Humanitarian Medical Relief Body (HMRB) is a national organization that works to ensure the stability of the wretched and needy people facing various kinds of problems. The Organization mandate includes facilitation of people with the endorsement to help them out of the cataclysmic situation and to promote stability and tranquility in Society. The organization was established in 1996. It was in 1996 that Humanitarian Medical Relief Body (HMRB) transpired. HMRB is a non- governmental, non-profitable and non-political organization. It was registered with the government of KPK under the Registration and Control Ordinance, 1961 (XLVI 1961) and with the Ministry of SAFRON Government of Pakistan. Despite the prevailing difficult conditions in the country, HMRB has been able to render all possible assistance to its countrymen through executing a considerable number of schemes in the spheres of vocational education programs rehabilitation, emergency/relief, irrigation, agriculture, animal husbandry. HMRB intends to work for the welfare of people across Pakistan. At present HMRB's focus is on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and with the passage of time HMRB will extend its activities to cover the other parts of Pakistan. HMRB has gained a reputation as a trustworthy organization with rigorous, substantive programs with the intention to bring tranquility in lives of people suffering from different wretchedness one way or the other. Since its establishment, HMRB has received funding from donors, including: International Medical Corps (IMC) HMRB has on its pay roll qualified technical and supporting staff and maintains an office in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to supervise and oversee activities in Pakistan.
To provide necessary health facilities to the poor community to their door steps which includes such services ;
Objectives: HMRB wishes to work with the community to build a viable environment in which they can restore their productive abilities, meet their needs and immediate requirements and to forge ahead towards improvement of their lives by using their own manpower and natural resources in their living areas. HMRB's long-term objective is to bring more land back into cultivation and to restore agriculture productivity and self-sufficiency of the locals through different vocational training schemes in the area of its activity. These steps are aimed at improving the general livelihood of the affected masses. > To provide the youth and vulnerable community people with the opportunity to learn vocational skills > To pave grounds for local people to engage them develop their socio-economic status > To encourage the young cadres to take part in their community development and to promote self-reliance among those enrolled in the vocational training programs.
